Welcome. I’m glad you’re here.

Maybe you’ve been in therapy for years and years, and the anxiety, feeling bad about yourself, and overwhelm are still there. You try really hard, but it never feels like enough- the messy house and office that stresses you out, forgetting to keep up with friends and feeling guilty, or unpaid bills and important to do’s that you sometimes get to, sometimes not. When you look around, you wonder whether you’re even trying at all. You’re not sure how everyone ‘does it’ and you’re hoping there’s something else you can try to make life feel less exhausting.

Or maybe you’re a woman who’s surprised to have a later in life diagnosis of ADHD. You’re relieved to understand yourself, yet grieving years of feeling misunderstood and unsupported...and you’re not sure what will bring relief. You’re still finding that you are completely drained at the end of the day. You long for more energy, more stability, and a life that feels easier.

Hi! I’m Mati.

(Pronounced ‘Maddy’, pronouns: she/her/hers)

Thanks for stopping by. I’m a Spanish-speaking, neurodivergent and neurodivergent-affirming, Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC) in Bethesda, Maryland. I graduated from the Johns Hopkins University with an M.S. in Clinical Mental Health Counseling in 2016, and for the past 10 years I've been supporting individuals with executive functioning, emotional regulation, and quieting their inner critic. Learn more about me here.

I support women who want to learn how to slow down and relax, but also stay on top of things. They want to feel like they’re not on the edge of yet another burnout. They want to trust that their mind will help them get done what needs to be done, without all the forgetting, anxiety, procrastination and guilt. They feel stuck- frustrated with themselves, hoping that there’s something else they can try, but wondering if they just haven’t been trying hard enough.

The women I support find that through our work together, they have more of a sense of ease. Life feels less chaotic. They have more energy after work. They feel better about themselves and have more confidence. Things get done more consistently, and there isn’t such a sense of exhaustion. They sleep better, and when they have free time, instead of running around, worrying, or feeling guilty, they can actually rest and recharge.

Whether you’ve been diagnosed, or are curious about an ADHD diagnosis, I’m here to help. Let’s figure it out together.
